The Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA, has congratulated seven retirees from the local government General Service and administration department on their milestone achievement. During a pendown and retirement celebration, Alhaji Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA praised the retirees’ dedication and service, describing their contributions as having made a lasting impact.
Alhaji Lawal urged the retirees to prioritize their health and keep fit, ensuring they face life’s challenges with vitality. The head of the Local Government Administration (HOLGA) appreciate the head of the General Services and Administration Department, Prince Adebisi Daniel Akinde for the laudable retirement package and extended the invitation to him as the special guest of honour during the retirement celebration.
The Director of General Services and Administration, Prince Adebisi Daniel Akinde, also congratulated the retirees, wishing them a fulfilling post-retirement life. He noted that the retirees were honored for their commitment and hard work. The retirees honored include Pastor George Adewale Jayeola, Mrs Ogunsanya Wasilat Omobolanle, Mrs Ade-Oluwatoba Omolara, Mr Idowu Rafiu, Mr Ogunleye Ramon Ade, Mrs Sofoluwe Olubukola, and Mrs Nikola Felicia Omoyeni.
Responding on behalf of the retirees, Pastor Prince George Adewale Jayeola expressed gratitude to the General Services and Administration department and management for their contributions and support. He prayed for the success of those still in active service and for them to be duly celebrated upon their retirement.
